One Heartbeat
Home of Safety
Our home was established in 2021 in Fisantekraal. This is our first Community Safety House and is run by Charmaine De Bruyn, a registered safety parent with the Department of Social Development. This home is used as an emergency home for children that are taken off the street or children being abused. Children receive the necessary love and care in the home and children that can’t be re-united with the parents go into foster care or they go up for adoption.

MORNINGSTAR
CHILD CARE CENTRE
This project was started in 2017 by the Principal, Felicia Cleophas. She saw the huge need for the parents to have a safe space to leave their children when going to work. There are between 30 & 50 children on a daily basis and this project falls under our Drop-in Centre.
Aftercare children are fetched from school by a carer and taken to the Care Centre. They all receive meals and a lot of love and care. We also have volunteers that come in to assist with development and homework.
